Connecting kids to Country in meaningful ways.
Our On Country school programs combines traditional, cultural knowledge and skills with western teaching methods. On these programs, children learn practical traditional skills in an outdoor classrom environment. Activities can include, bushwalking and the environment, animal tracking, making damper, traditional firelighting, Bindjareb language and words, cultural histories and storytelling.

Art and craft activities
Bushcraft teaches children the importance of respecting Country and encompasses a range of traditional skills. We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by the materials and resources we need to craft the tools necessary for survival, like spears, knives, axes and carrying vessels. A key component of tool making is the use of fire. Join us as we discuss the importance of fire in Noongar culture and life and teach you how to make fire and tools the traditional way.
